CADE - Food Consumption at Home and at School is an app that allows you to knowthe feeding of school children in a self-reported way. The app has threemain interfaces that include food in school environments, througha food record, household (including food delivered by delivery and outsidefrom home, such as restaurants), through a 24-hour recall of multiplesteps combined with a food propensity questionnaire, in addition to the third interface thatallows the typing of data on the childs feeding previously collected on paper.The user of the application are responsible for the child in school environments andhome. Some examples of app features: data integration fromfeeding the child in school and home environments; photographic record offood; notification to remind real-time reporting and quantity estimationconsumed using digital photos. The tool presents a database with more2000 food items frequently consumed by Brazilian school children;nine options for food preparation methods; 18 food item options thatcan be added to other foods; 75 options of homemade measures usedto serve the food; 26 digital photos of household items used for servingthe foods and 440 digital photos of portions of 90 foods from the ManualPhotograph of Infant Food Quantification used in the ENANI 2019 study(Crispim SP et al. Photographic Manual of Infant Food Quantification, 1st ed.;Federal University of Paraná: Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil, 2018. 159 p). It is believed thatthe CADE application can standardize and automate the collection of dietary datareducing the cost of academic research interested in evaluating the feeding ofschool children.
